Outpatient Service Guide

1. STEP

   1 Making an Appointment

2. STEP

   2 Appointment Reception and Confirmation

   After an appointment request is received, a coordinator will respond and provide guidance as promptly as possible (within 24 to 48 hours).

3. STEP

   3 Preparation for Your Visit

   Identification

   Passport (for domestic residents, alien registration card (ARC))

   Medical records (if applicable)

   Data from within the last 3 months (test results, imaging data, physician's opinion, prescriptions, surgery records, biopsy slides, and their reports, etc.)

   Health Insurance subscribers

   Health care referral form

   International Insurance policyholders

   Request a guarantee of payment in advance

   Hanyang Foundation employee ID, medical discount request form for students of Hanyang University or Hanyang Institute of International Education

4. STEP

   4 Visit and Registration

   Please visit the International Hospital on the 3rd floor of the West Building at least 10-20 minutes before your scheduled appointment, and proceed with registration and payment.

5. STEP

   5 Medical Consultation

   • Receive medical consultation at the respective department.
   • After the consultation, please receive guidance regarding your next schedule and precautions from the attending nurse.
6. STEP

   6 Payment and Prescription Issue

   • Payment: Korean won (KRW) or credit card (currency exchange available at the bank within the hospital) Location
   • Receipts can be issued in English, Russian, or Mongolian upon request.
7. STEP

   7 Prescription, Injections, and Tests

   • Prescription: After receiving your prescription, please have it filled at the external pharmacy. Location
   • Injections: Proceed to the injection room as guided for treatment.
   • Same-day tests: Proceed to the designated test room as guided to undergo tests.
   • Scheduled tests: Schedule your test date at the Integrated Test Reservation Center.
     On the day of your test, pay the fee first and visit the respective test room.

   • If you need assistance, please contact the International Clinic Center.
8. STEP

   8 Returning Home or Admission

   • Return home after completing all scheduled activities.
   • For patients whose admission has been decided, please proceed with the reservation or admission process at the admission desk on the 3rd floor of the Main Building.
